Any monitor will work with VIS, but a 17" or larger monitor will make viewing Windows at the higher resolutions of 800x600 or 1024x768 much easier. Be sure your monitor will support all of the graphics modes of your graphics adapter and that your monitor runs in non-interlaced mode at the higher resolutions. A refresh rate of 70 Hz will give you less flicker, and a dot pitch of .28mm or less will result in a crisper picture.
