Playing a Movie

When you press Enter and your movie has been captured, it is loaded into a new window. Now you will want to play it. Unless you shut down the video window by pressing F4 (Video/Video on/off) it will continue to show the incoming video signal coming. Just put the cursor in the window showing your movie and click to activate and play your movie clip.
VIS gives you several different methods for playing and viewing movie clips. Among them are:

Use the Movie toolbar along the bottom of the VIS window. This is useful for roughly positioning the frame of interest.

Select the Movie mode (F5) of VIS to use the mouse as a controller for movie playing. The left button single frames backward, the right button single frames forward, and the thumbwheel scrolls backward and forward through the movie.

Use the play bar along the bottom of the window to move around in the movie. Using the play bar, just click on the marker with the left mouse button and drag it to move the movie. There are buttons for frame, key frame, and play in both directions.

Use the arrow keys on the keyboard to control movie playing.

The movie toolbar provides full controls for playing movies. You can play the movie, set and jump between key frames, set a loop so that the movie plays continuously, play a movie with or without drawing showing, or play the movie in real time.
