Video on/off

Video on/off starts and closes a window that shows the video signal being input through the video capture board. It allows you to watch your video on the computer screen so that you can signal VIS the video clips that you want to transfer into VIS.
The video capture window can be toggled on/off from either:

•
Video/Video on/off main menu

•
Pressing the F4 key, or

•
Clicking the video camera icon on the main toolbar.

Unless you need to continually monitor the live video, you turn the video capture window off when you are not capturing video to improve performance of your computer system.
