Entry Fee:
$10
What is it?
The Tuesday Night Men’s League Birdie Bash is a season long race to see who can make the
most birdies during league play. A player may enter the Birdie Bash at any time by paying a $10 entry
fee, however if you join after regular season play has started, no birdies made prior to entry will be
counted. The way the game works is simple, each night of regular season league play if you make a gross
birdie, a gold star is added to the hole you made the gross birdie on. If a gross eagle is made, then two
gold stars will be added to the hole you made gross eagle on. At the end of the regular season league
play, the player with the highest total of stars will be awarded first place. The player with the next
highest total of stars will be awarded second place. In the event of a tie, a tie breaker will be used to
determine first place. The tiebreaker will be determined by the player who has the most gold stars on
the highest handicap hole. If no gold stars were earned on that hole then we will go to the next highest
handicap hole, etc, until a winner is determined. A running chart like the one below will be posted at the
scorer’s table each week.
Payout
All entry fees collected will be used as prize payouts and we will payout two places, 1st and 2nd,
with 1st place being worth 75% of the pot and 2nd place worth 25% of the pot.
