What is it?

During Tuesday Night Men’s League spring/summer regular season play, if a player is lucky enough to make a hole-in-one, that player will be eligible to win the pot. The pot will be comprised of all the entry fee money collected for this challenge. If two or more players make a hole-in-one, the pot will be split evenly amongst those players. A player may enter the hole-in-one challenge at any time after week 1 of regular season play, however if a player is not in at the time a hole-in-one is recorded, they will be deemed not eligible to win the pot.

What happens if nobody makes a hole-in-one?

If a hole-in-one is not made during the regular season, a closest to the pin challenge will take place at the conclusion of play on the last day of the regular season. All participants in the hole-in-one challenge will be eligible to hit one shot into the green, from a specified tee location, with the closest shots* advancing to a bracket style single elimination tournament, seeded by proximity to the hole. The last two players remaining will be “in the money” but will face off to declare who takes top prize, with 75% of the pot going to 1st place and 25% of the pot going to 2nd place.

*Number of players advancing will be dependent on how many are in the pot (less than 25 players, 8 will advance. More than 25 players, 16 will advance.)

Payout

All entry fees collected in the challenge will be paid out on the last day of the Tuesday Night Men’s League regular season.

• If the number of shots needed to advance are not on the green during the open competition, players whose ball is closest the hole without being on the green will move on to the single elimination bracket.
• During bracket play, your ball must rest on the green to be considered CTP. If both players in a round miss the green, then the ball closest to the hole will advance.
• If a hole in one is made during the CTP challenge, the competition will be over, and that player declared the winner. In this scenario, the winner would win 100% of the pot.
