The Summer FedEx Cup points race is funded by a portion of the $40 player entry fee. $6 from each entry fee goes into the FedEx Cup prize pot. Each week points will be awarded to players based on their Net Score ranking per the table below. At the conclusion of the regular season, the payout based on cumulative points will be as follows:

Ties will split the individual prize money.
Players who “pre-play” will be awarded points same as if they were present and playing on Tuesday. Players who are absent will receive zero points. Substitute players, and extra players in the field each week will not factor into the weekly ranking and awarding of FedEx Cup points. Each week, points will be awarded on a linear scale as show below. The two lowest weeks' rankings for each player will be dropped when calculating the season total.
